Meditation for sleep

Are you struggling to get enough sleep?

Are you regularly going to bed exhausted and not waking refreshed?

You’re not alone.

I’m Anthony Thompson, a Vedic Meditation teacher, and I come across many people who have found their sleep badly affected by a challenging year. Maybe you are having a multitude of dreams and wake with the alarm whilst in the middle of a dream. Or perhaps you’re waking in the middle of the night with a tumble-dryer of thoughts and can’t get back to sleep. Sound familiar?

Sleep is often dismissed as an irritating interruption to all our busyness, but it’s the natural moment when we de-stress.

The problem today is most of us don’t get enough sleep but many people have found meditation to be of great help because it removes the stress.

If you are looking for an easy to learn and simple to practise meditation technique which  is carefully taught, highly effective and requires little effort you’re in the right place

I teach Vedic Meditation, a simple mental technique practised sitting in a chair with your eyes closed.

You think a mantra, a sound chosen by the teacher, which quietens the mind, and the body rests very deeply. After 20 minutes you come out refreshed, energised and feeling happy.

Sounds good?

To get started all you have to do is sign up for an Introductory Talk which is informative and interesting and lasts no more than an hour. You’ll learn something about the Vedic perspective of consciousness and will be offered the opportunity of learning a meditation practice of your own.
