Master your mind with Vedic Meditation

I could never meditate I think too much, sound familiar?

When learning to meditate many people assume that they have to concentrate or contemplate something in order to empty the mind of thoughts.

What would you think of a technique which is based on not trying and that thoughts are completely acceptable?

If you are looking for an easy to learn and simple to practise meditation technique which is carefully taught, highly effective and requires little effort you’re in the right place.

I’m Anthony Thompson and I teach Vedic Meditation, a simple mental technique practised sitting in a chair with your eyes closed.

You think a mantra, a sound chosen by the teacher, which quietens the mind, and the body rests very deeply. After 20 minutes you come out refreshed, energised and feeling happy.

When I first learnt many decades ago I thought I would never be able to quieten my mind but my teacher showed me how to make that happen. It was like my monkey mind went on holiday and never came back.

Sounds good?

All you have to do is sign up for an Introductory Talk which is informative and interesting and lasts no more than an hour. You’ll learn something about the Vedic perspective of consciousness and will be offered the opportunity of learning a meditation practice of your own. An unusual feature of having me as your teacher is that I teach you one-one and I’ll give you ongoing support not just in the following days, but for the following months and in the years to come.

Let’s get going!

Regular meditation results in a feeling of ease and contentment which comes from the release of natural bliss chemicals like serotonin and dopamine. Meditation helps increase your ability to focus and maintain concentration and you experience an increase in sharp thinking and awareness.

Come along to one of our free introductory talks currently held online or in person, observing social distancing measures. Or if you are responsible for wellbeing within your organisation, our corporate programmes may be of interest. So please get in touch.
